Latest News from Luminate Records

We’re excited to announce a major new release on Luminate Records. “Transcriptions” is the debut album by the incredibly talented Tim Rumsey.

It’s a collection of compositions and arrangements by Gabriel Fauré, William Walton, Paul Dukas, John Dowland, Henry Purcell, Charles Trent, Walter Eiger, J. S. Bach, George Gershwin, Percy Grainger, Alexis Weissenberg, Earl Wild and Tim Rumsey himself.

The album exudes virtuosity with moments of peace and tenderness, and is the perfect showcase for Tim’s musicality, both at the piano and as a a composer.

In addition to the four singles that have been released over the last few months, the entire album is now available on CD and on all major streaming services, as well as the option to own the collection on vinyl, split over an album length LP and a four track EP, from our friends elasticStage.

All streaming details can be found on the product page and purchase details on our online store.
