Latest News from Luminate Records
We’ve been very quiet recently, but behind the scenes we’ve been frantically building up our catalogue in collaboration with some exciting new artists, including a series of live in concert chamber music recordings from the CBSO Centre in Birmingham.
We’ll be “relaunching” Luminate Records very soon with a new distributor, allowing us to be found in more places, and we can’t wait to start sharing our new releases with you very soon.

"Three Lyric Pieces represents Eric Coates' only mature work for the piano and are almost entire forgotten these days - pity as they are ear-catching miniatures, full of charm and Ben Dawson, thoroughly imbued with the Coates style, plays them with tremendous flair."
"The playing is just incredible, a joy and an inspiration. The liner notes, with beautiful descriptions of each Valse, give great depth and further meaning to each track."
"After having just heard your playing of the Eccles with Ukulele I felt compelled to write you a fan letter because I was so blown away by your brilliant and musical performance! You are an amazing artist and I'm so glad you made this recording...I never would have dreamed that this sonic combination of instruments would be possible!"
"Three melodies movements, by turns lyrical and (in the central scherzo)dazzlingly virtuosic."
